Island Camping

I'm off this weekend to Isle Royale with my grandpa, dad, and a
brother. We will not be roughing it. We're staying in a screened in
shelter and are using a small aluminum motorboat for travelling. Our
cooler of food should be safe from the moose on the islands, and I'm
guessing arrangements have also been made for the mosquitos to be on
strike from biting while we're around.

It's fairly far away for a weekend trip. It's an 8 hour drive just to
get to the upper peninsula where a ferry takes us on the 50 mile trip
across Lake Superior. Grabbing a compass and heading North should get us there, right?
