Gear Testing

Gear testing, as I just found out, is a great way to evaluate new gear by using it - without necessarily buying it first. By signing up with BackpackerGearTest.org, I'm applying to become a gear tester. I plan on evaluating some gear I already own, and then submit requests to evaluate new or previously untested pieces of equipment. With a daunting list (and price tag) of gear that I will be needing before my trip, this effort can only help me check things off. Now, if I only knew how to write...
