The Day Has Arrived!

Friday June 8th will be my last day at home in Wisconsin before I begin my southbound thru-hike of the AT. Its been great in Racine golfing and eating lots. Mom & dad have been helping & learning more about how integral they are to my success. Early on Saturday morning I fly to D.C. for an aviation conference. After a week there a Greyound bus will take me to Maine and the north end of the Appalachian Trail. I'm ready to go and can't wait to be there starting what I've been planning for so long! Here goes nothing!
