Announcing Tryouts For A New Pack

The Granite Gear Vapor Trail I own might not get to come with on the trip. I have it all packed up with 3 days of food, a full load of water, and all but a couple pieces of gear that I'm bringing. It's over it's 25 lb comfort range before adding 8 more days of food (the maximum I should have to carry at any point). I'm looking at it's big brother, the Granite Gear Nimbus Ozone, but am open to suggestions. The only other gear that might not get to come along are my Chaco brand sandals. They're long-distance comfortable, except they weigh in at over 1 pound per sandal and almost as much as my hiking boots.
